My core research explores how social drivers and affective feelings influence experience, decisions, and health outcomes. I am particularly interested in leveraging social and affective science into healthcare settings.

I am a faculty scientist at the MaineHealth Institute for Research. I completed postdoctoral training at Tufts University through the Center for Applied Brain and Cognitive Science. I completed my Ph.D. in psychology in the Interdisciplinary Affective Science Lab with Lisa Feldman Barrett at Northeastern University.
